At 3:11 p.m. on march 20th, Northwood Station 1 was dispatched on an automatic mutual aid call with Rossford Fire Department for a structure fire. On arrival crews found a working fire in this 2 story duplex. The structure sustained heavy damage from an accidental fire caused by a malfunctioning toaster. There were no injuries and the fire was contained to the floor of origin. A good stop with coordinated salvage and overhaul kept contamination to the first floor to a minimum.
