On July 13, 2005, The Northwood Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Dillrose. On arrival crews found a vehicle on fire inside an attatched garage with heavy extension to the garage. After an aggressive two prong attack, with one hose team going to work on the vehicle and garage, and another going inside the residence, the fire was knocked down with little damage to the house. However, the car and garage was lost. The Rossford Fire Department assisted as part of an automatic mutual aid agreement. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
