April 16, 2006- Landfill Fire (Again)- Northwood Fire Department was dispatched to the Evergreen landfill for an outdoors fire. On arrival units found a large pile of pallets well envolved. This was a repeat of an incident from January of this year. Lake Twp. Fire Department was called Mutual Aid for tankers due to lack of water supply in the area. Over 50,000 gallons of water, and heavy equipment was used to put the fire out.
