MVA-Cars vs Tree- At 0112 hours on March 28, Northwood Station 2 was dispatched to Curtice Road, near Wynn Road for an motor vehicle accident. A NPD officer witnessed the crash an immediately requested Life Flight be put on standby. 1st arriving Fire Department units found a single vehicle, with 1 occupant which had struck a tree at a high rate of speed. The driver was pinned and unconscious, Life Flight was requested to the scene, and Northwood Station 1 was requested for assistance. The roof of the vehicle, and passenger door were removed to extricate the patient. The patient was transported by Life Flight to MUO.
