MVA -16 February 2010- At approximately 2:15 pm, Northwood Station 1 was dispatched to I-75 NB North of wales Rd. for a multi-car accident. (pictures to follow), On arrival at that scene, crews found a 5 car crash with 1 person needing transported. While finishing up at that scene, Rossford Fire was dispatched to this crash on I-75 just south of the previous call. Northwood Truck 802 went in service from the 5 car crash and responded to this scene with RFRD. When crews arrived at this scene they found 2 semi trucks had collided, one truck rear ended the other. The driver of the 2nd truck was injured and required some extrication from his badly damaged cab. He was transported to the Hospital by Rossford's squad. A Med Corp Ambulance also happened to be on scene and assisted with pt care.
