May 19, 2004 - Rossford Fire & Rescue responded to the Eastbound side of the Ohio Turnpike at the 64 mile marker shortly before 5:00 PM for a semi vs. van injury accident.

The accident occurred just outside a work zone. A van towing a compact car was struck from behind by a tractor trailer. The van and trailer then spun around from the impact and was then struck head on by the semi. Northwood Sation 1 was called on Automatic Mutual Aid. The Driver of the Van was transported to the Hospital by Life Flight.
