November 9 2005-MVA with Fire-

At 11:32 A.M. on 09 November, Northwood Station 2 was dispatched to Woodville Rd. at the I-280 entrance ramp for a car fire. While crews were responding the dispatcher advised that adiitional calls now reported the car was on Woodville Rd near Lemoyne Rd, which is about 200 yards from the first location given. Police on scene advised they had an injured person from an MVA at that location and Station 1 was dispatched for a squad. On arrival Station 2 crews along with Medic 806 found a single car fully envolved at the Woodville and Lemoyne location. The fire was extinguished by Engine 811's crew, and as Squad 804 was arriving, two additional vehicle were found sitting in the intersection with 4 ways on at the Woodville/ I-280 location. After talking to the people at that location it was evident that a crash occured there and the driver of the car which was on fire had been knocked unconscious and pulled from the car by bystanders. The car then caught fire and rolled backwards down the hill to the Woodville/Lemoyne location. The driver who was knocked unconscious was alert and oriented on our arrival and was refusing transport, after repeated attempts to convice her to go to the hospital, she signed AMA. No other injuries were reported.
