Mutual Aid House Fire- At 0108 hours on April 24th, Northwood Station 2 was dispatched on a Mutual Aid assignment to a structure fire with Lake Township Fire Department. On arrival LTFD crews reported a heavily envolved, two story residence with flames already showing through the roof. An interior attack was intially started but crews were ordered out by Command due to heavy fire conditions. On Northwood crews' arrival, a defensive attack was under way and crews were assigned to man hose lines outside the structure. Northwood personnel also assisted with salvage and overhaul, and Northwood station 1 was called to the scene to with a squad to handle any EMS calls for the Township. Northwood units were on scene approximately 4 hours before retuning to service.
