MVA with Entrapment, July 30th 2010- At 11:56 p.m. Northwood Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Wales rd and E. Broadway for a possible roll-over vehicle accident. Medic 800 arrived on scene to find the vehicle in a ditch approximately 6 feet deep, with the driver trapped inside, and the passenger out of the vehicle with injuries. Rossford Fire and Rescue was called to assist. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle which took about 40 minutes to complete and require the removal of the cars roof. Both patients were transported to a local trauma center. One was taken by ground in Rossford Unit 793, and the other was flown by Life Flight.
