July 16, 2006 House Fire- Northwood Fire Department was called to assist Lake Twp Fire on a gas grill explosion which resulted in a house fire. Station 1 responded with an engine and on arrival were informed the fire was knocked down by Lake Twp crews. Assitance was requested with salvage and overhaul operations and manpower rotation due to the hot weather. No injuries were reported to any civilian or fire personnel.
