Northwood Station 1 will be hosting Texas Hold'em and Vegas Style Poker on Sept 27. Sessions start at Noon and 6:00P.M. Proceeds will benefit our Memorial fund.

The Ladies Auxillary will be having a stuffed cabbage dinner at Station 1 on Sept 21st ,from Noon until 5:00 P.M.(unless sold out) Dinner includes: Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Potatoes, Green Beans, Bread, Beverage, and Dessert.

We will be having a car wash at Station 1 on Aug 2nd. Hours are 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Proceeds benefit our Memorial fund.

The Northwood Fire Department has been awarded a FEMA grant for $87,049. Click here to view a press release from Senator Mike DeWine's Office. This grant will be used to purchase Personal Protective Equipment to better protect our firefighters and Communications Equipment which will provide us with radios that meet the current FCC requirements and other radios that will allow us to communicate with many agencies state-wide. We are very fortunate to have received this money to better protect our citizens, our community, and all those who travel within the City of Northwood. This is the second FEMA grant received by The Northwood Fire Department. In 2003 we received $99,000 that was used to purchase Unit 806.
